Telefonica ends up paying Prisa EUR 725 mln for DTS

Spanish media group Prisa announced that it finally closed the sale of its stake in Distribuidora de Television Digital (DTS) to Telefonica at a price of EUR 724.6 million, the maximum estimated amount of the transaction. In a statement submitted to Spanish market regulator CNMV, the media group said two price adjustments resulted in the final price increasing by EUR 36.3 million from the minimum estimated figure of EUR 688.2 million. The announcement comes over a year after Telefonica acquired full control of DTS, or Digital+ as it is also known, after agreeing to purchase Prisa's 56 percent
