Telefonica expands tablet training scheme for over-60s

Telefonica is continuing its project 'Tablet PCs for senior citizens' in Weinstadt, Dresden and Rendsburg, in cooperation with the foundation Stiftung Digitale Chancen. Member of the Bundestag Joachim Pfeiffer, and Weinstadt's mayor Jurgen Oswalds, introduced the project, which aims to familiarise people aged 60 or older with tablet PCs. In Rendsburg, the project was launched at the beginning of the 'First symposium of Digital Inclusion' by Member of the Bundestag Sonke Rix, Rendsburg's mayor Pierre Gilgenast, pastor Heiko Nass and Barbara Schaeckel, head of the project 'Connected!', which
