Telefonica first telco to offer Epic Games carrier billing

Telefonica said customers of its Movistar brand in Spain can now directly charge their purchases of Epic Games digital content (including games, battle passes and in-game currencies such as V-Bucks in Fortnite) to their mobile phone bills following a deal with the US video game developer. In a statement, the company said it's the first operator in the world to offer a carrier billing service with Epic Games and that it hopes the partnership will lead to additional joint marketing activities and the generation of shared content.
