Telefonica Germany aims to start 5G 'as quickly as possible'

Telefonica Germany believes that the roll-out of 5G is first of all relevant for Industry 4.0. The increased transmission speeds and lower latencies open up completely new fields of application, for example for production and logistics processes, a spokesperson for the company said, Teltarif.de reports. The company is currently building the first 5G mobile network for automobile production for Mercedes-Benz Cars in Sindelfingen.
