Telefonica Germany doubtful over public company to expand national mobile coverage

Telefonica Germany is critical of the idea to establish a state-owned mobile infrastructure company to close white spots, Deutsche Presse Agentur reports. The public company would not have its own frequencies because all the spectrum has been sold to the network operators or reserved for the industry, said the CEO of Telefonica Germany Markus Haas, adding that "it is still not clear exactly how a state-owned company actually wants to expand" the network.
