Telefonica Germany issues new EUR 500 million bond

Telefonica Germany has placed a senior unsecured bond with a total volume of EUR 500 million due on 03 February 2021. This is the second successful debt capital market transaction conducted by the company in the last three months, following the inaugural issuance of a EUR 600 million 5-year bond in November 2013. The net proceeds of the bond will be used for general corporate purposes. The net debt level of the company will not increase after the issuance of the bond.
