Telefonica Germany plans IT architecture overhaul

Thursday 21 January 2021 | 16:41 CET | News
Telefonica Germany plans to overhaul its IT architecture by 2023 to market products faster and reduce operational costs. Telefonica will reduce the number of IT service producers from ten to two, and the number of core IT platforms from six to two, one for private and the other for business customers. This will allow Telefonica to respond quickly to different market requirements. Moreover, it will rely in the future on standard developed systems to integrate changes across multiple brands through only one user interface.
