Telefonica, IDB and ICC ink LatAm digitalisation deal

Telefonica has signed a new agreement with the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) to continue their joint efforts to promote the digital transformation of the Latin American economy through to 2020. In a statement, the partners said the scope of the alliance has broadened with the participation of the Inter-American Investment Corporation (IIC), boosting the possibilities for joint action on economic, social and digital development projects in Latin America and the Caribbean in collaboration with governments, civil agents and the private sector.
