Telefonica improves Movistar+ satellite offer, hikes price

Telefonica has improved the Movistar+ pay-TV package it offers via satellite with the addition of two more sports channels, reports Xataka Movil. Subscribers to the operator's Movistar+ Familiar satellite pay-TV offering will now receive the Movistar Sports 1 and 2 channels, featuring coverage of rugby, NBA and Euroleague basketball and tennis tournaments, among other sports, but will have to pay an extra EUR 5 a month irrespective of whether or not they want the channels. The operator's satellite TV offer, offered mainly in underserved rural localities, now costs EUR 35 a month including
