Telefonica inaugurates '42 Madrid' coding school, to add 4 new campuses

Telefonica has inaugurated a new coding school called '42 Madrid' at its headquarters located in the capital's Las Tablas district at an event attended by Spain's labour minister Magdalena Valerio, French ambassador Jean-Michel Casa, Telefonica CEO Jose Maria Alvarez-Pallete and Iliad founder Xavier Niel. The opening comes after the operator reached an agreement earlier this year to bring the non-profit computer programming school 42 to Spain with a range of courses offered under the company's Fundacion Telefonica charitable arm. The coding school was first set up by Xavier Niel in Paris back
