Telefonica launches Digital Operations Centre with 750 staff

Telefonica Empresas, the B2B brand of the Spanish operator, has inaugurated a new digital operations hub to serve the needs of its large business customers, including numerous Ibex 35 companies, government agencies and Telefonica itself. The new Madrid-based Digital Operations Centre (DOC) integrates and coordinates the support services provided by 750 employees to a total of over 1,500 companies. It centralises the operations of Spain's Security Cyberoperation Centre, critical incident command centre and the operator's IoT management and cloud areas, with the digital workplace support centre
