Telefonica launches 'Movistar Sound' record label

Telefonica has expanded its music-related activities by announcing the official launch of a record label called Movistar Sound. The company said Movistar Sound will be a music publisher, record label and production studio focusing on emerging and leading Spanish artists. It intends to release albums in both digital and physical formats and produce promotional videos for the accompanying singles, having already backed local artists such as Izzi, Red Passenger and Yogures de Coco.
