Telefonica partners with WTO to boost tourism sector digitalisation

Telefonica has announced a collaboration with the UN's World Tourism Organisation (WTO) to develop and implement digital entrepreneurship and training initiatives with a view to boosting the long-term sustainability and competitiveness of the global tourism sector. Under the terms of the deal, the partners committed to promoting innovation and digital entrepreneurship within the tourism sector through the creation of innovation forums. They will also launch initiatives that use Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence and Big Data technologies to create unique visitor experiences,
