Telefonica picks Allot Communications for network security

Allot Communications has announced a contract to help Telefonica provide network-based security services and improved user experience for its mobile and fixed line subscribers all over the world. Under the terms of the deal, Allot will deploy its network-based services to Telefonica units in Europe and Latin America, protecting customers from online threats via its Service Gateway and WebSafe Personal platforms.
