Telefonica presents 'TV Virtual Experience' project at MWC

Telefonica has announced that it's taking advantage of its appearance at Mobile World Congress to introduce an immersive TV initiative designed to allow viewers to access the contents of its Movistar+ pay-TV platform in Spain via virtual reality technology. The 'TV Virtual Experience' project can be enjoyed at MWC in two immersive spaces: a private virtual room with a large 192-inch 2D screen and a second public room for sharing Movistar+ content such as film premieres and sporting events with other users, who join in the form of avatars.
