Telefonica selects Oracle for Spanish network update

Oracle Communications has signed a contract with Telefonica to modernise the Spanish operator's domestic network for the delivery of converged services. Telefonica will use Oracle's Session Border Controller for its full portfolio of services, including residential services, mobile rich communication services, business services including SIP trunking, interconnection to support agreements with other CSPs, as well as Voice over LTE (VoLTE).
