Telefonica shuts down historic Terra platform

Friday 30 June 2017 | 13:40 CET | News
Telefonica has announced that it will be terminating activities on its historic Terra platform in all countries apart from Brazil on 30 June. In an announcement on its official website, the platform urged users to make security backups of all emails and files because "from 01 July 2017 you will not be able to access your accounts or saved messages." The decision to shut down the pioneering platform, active in Spain since 1999, affects portals in Spain, the United States, Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Mexico and Peru.
