Telefonica signs up as tech partner of Lima 2019 Pan-American Games

Telefonica del Peru has announced an agreement to be the technological partner of the forthcoming Lima 2019 Pan-American Games. The operator said it will be installing the technological infrastructure to guarantee the connectivity of the event across 20 host venues. A total of over 6,000 fixed network points and 2,000 mobile broadband accesses will set up to enable all participants to access the internet at speeds of up to 10 Gbps, said the company.
