Telefonica Spain launches Twitter customer care bot

Telefonica Spain has announced the launch of a bot designed to connect customers to its call centre that can be activated via Twitter. The bot allows customers to report technical incidents as well as consult data or voice consumption and billing details directly via their Twitter account, with more interactions to be made available over time. To activate the bot customers simply need to send a message to the @movistar_es account using the hashtag #ActivarMiBot.
