Telefonica to launch new series-based Fusion pay-TV offering

Telefonica has announced the launch of a new entertainment-based plan as part of its Movistar Fusion range of pay-TV packages. In a bid to compete with rival streaming services such as Netflix and HBO Espana, starting 05 April the operator will offer its customers Movistar Fusion+ Ocio, a plan that includes its Movistar Series and Movistar Series Xtra channels, complete with 8,000 series, films and documentaries, as well as all the Movistar family channels, two mobile lines with unlimited calls and a total of 8.2GB of data, plus 50Mbps fibre broadband for EUR 75 a month or 300Mbps fibre for
