Telefonica to offer 4K-quality satellite stream next year

Telefonica will begin offering a 4K-quality stream to satellite users that can't access the company's fibre-optic network starting in 2019, reports website SatCesc.com. The operator last week confirmed that it will finally debut its 4K offer Movistar+ fibre subscribers in September with live La Liga football games on the Movistar Partidazo 4K and beIN La Liga 4K channels. In a blog post, the company said it will be offering a 4K stream of games from La Liga Santander, La Liga 123, the Copa del Rey as well as from the Champions League, Europa League, Premier League and Bundesliga.
