Telefonica to phase out E-Plus brand after merger - report

Telefonica Deutschland (O2) plans to discontinue some E-Plus group brands if their merger proceeds, reports dpa, According to a report in 'Focus' magazine, Telefonica plans to phase out the E-Plus brand, but wants to retain the Base brand for contract customers. It is also considering combining all the E-Plus group pre-paid brands.
