Telefonica unveils Movistar Money consumer loans service

Telefonica has teamed up with long-time financial services partner CaixaBank to launch a consumer loans service for its customers. The service, dubbed Movistar Money, is designed to give Movistar customers the opportunity to request a loan of between EUR 1,000 and EUR 4,000 in less than 48 hours with no formalisation fee or additional documentation required. Customers have to pay back the loan via their monthly Movistar services bill over 24, 36 or 48 months at an interest rate (APR) of 16.48 percent.
