Telekom Austria investor rep wants company to remain listed

Investor representative Wilhelm Rasinger disagrees with a proposal from Telekom Austria supervisory board chairman Ronny Pecik to take the company private, reports the Austrian Press Agency (APA). Rasinger believes that a listing of the company on the Vienna Stock Exchange is very important. He also wants the supervisory board to be decreased and for an employee fund to be established. Rasinger said that there was an agreement to increase the proportion of Telekom Austria shares in free float from 10 to 20 percent, and that this contract must be honoured.
