Telekom Deutschland, Innogy announce broadband partnership

Telekom Deutschland has announced a cooperation with German electricity provider Innogy to expand broadband networks in rural areas. The partnership will extend to 60 cities in the Eifel, Hunsruck and Munsterland regions, with Telekom Deutschland offering its services via Innogy data cables. The agreement has been signed for ten years and will affect up to 1 million inhabitants, according to a report in Handelsblatt.
