Telekom Deutschland integrates 5G research into IPTV

A collaboration between Telekom Deutschland and 5G Lab Germany has resulted in new technology that is now being integrated into Telekom smart-TV products. Telekom Deutschland and the Dresden University of Technology's 5G Lab Germany entered into a partnership in 2015 to research new applications for 5G technology. Telekom has now announced that the initial research has been successful and results are now being integrated into products such as its IPTV platform EntertainTV.
