Telekom Deutschland to deploy DSL in rural Bavaria

Thursday 10 March 2011 | 10:43 CET | News
Telekom Deutschland will deploy DSL offering a maximum download speed of 16 Mbps in Beratzhausen's districts Oberpfraundorf, Unterpfraundorf and Rechberg in Bavaria. The operator has signed an agreement with Beratzhausen to connect more than 300 households in these disctricts before the end of spring of this year. The deployment is part of Telekom's strategy to offer broadband services via (V)DSL, HSPA and LTE in rural regions around Germany, where currently no broadband service is available.
