Telekom finances TU Dresden chair for 5G research

Deutsche Telekom extends its partnership with the Technical University of Dresden by financing the already existing Chair of Communication Networks. The current incumbent in the newly renamed "Deutsche Telekom Chair of Communication Networks" is Prof. Frank Fitzek. Last year, Deutsche Telekom became partner of the 5G Lab Germany that is set up at the TU Dresden. The research brief of the Chair already takes in a variety of aspects of the task of providing the next-generation common uniform communication standard.
