Telekom lifts revenues 1% in Germany on strong demand for fibre lines in Q2

Thursday 13 August 2020 | 09:14 CET | News
Deutsche Telekom said that its revenues in Germany increased by 1.1 percent in Q2 to 5.44 billion. This mainly due to the positive trend in the fixed-network business on the back of growth in broadband revenues, with fixed revenues growing 2.9 percent year-on-year. The coronavirus pandemic had a negative impact on roaming and visitor revenue, leading to a 1.1 percent fall in mobile service revenue, and equipment revenue also was lower. Adjusted EBITDA rose by 3 percent during the period to EUR 2.21 billion.
