Telekom welcomes Apple Pay for NFC use

Telekom Deutschland welcomes Apple's NFC-based payments service Apple Pay as it complements its own "My Wallet service, according to Telekom manager Stefan Eutgers cited by teltarif.de. The "My Wallet" service is supported by all current Android phones, is accepted at approximately 35,000 payment points across Germany. The NFC chip on iPhones, however, only supports the company's own "Apple Pay". It requires an additional sticker to use the Telekom's wallet.
