Telenet cuts FY revenue outlook on mobile slowdown

Telenet reported second-quarter revenues of EUR 422 million, up from EUR 408 million a year ago. Sales growth was less than expected due to lower mobile handset sales. EBITDA was up just 1 percent to EUR 217 million, and net profit dropped to EUR 10 million from EUR 71.6 million a year ago. As a result of the weak performance, Telenet lowered its outlook for the full year to 4-5 percent revenue growth from an earlier estimate of 6-7 percent. Adjusted EBITDA is still expected up 5-6 percent. It will decide on a dividend for the year in the third quarter. The cable operator still increased the
