Telenet forecasts flat revenue in 2017 on mobile pressure

Belgian operator Telenet reported fourth-quarter revenues of EUR 629.2 million, up 36 percent from a year earlier thanks to its takeover of mobile operator Base. Adjusted EBITDA rose a slower 23 percent to EUR 269.3 million. On an organic basis, Telenet said revenues were up 4 percent year-on-year and adjusted EBITDA rose 2 percent. Telenet said regulatory headwinds and structural pressures on the prepaid mobile segment will impact top-line growth in 2017. As a result, expects organic revenue stable, while adjusted EBITDA should show "solid mid single-digit growth", thanks to the synergies
