Telenet Q3 revenues up 5%, maintains FY outlook

Belgian cable operator Telenet reported third-quarter revenues of EUR 432.3 million, up 5 percent from a year earlier. Adjusted EBITDA totaled EUR 227.3 million, giving a margin of 52.6 percent. Net profit was EUR 22.6 million. Telenet said it had a strong operational performance, as the focus on triple- and quad-play plans helped push churn to the lowest level in five years. Sales growth was offset by lower handset revenues, lower analog carriage fees and lower usage-related revenue. The operator added 83,400 new triple-play customers in the quarter, for a total 1.025 million, helping ARPU
