Telenet sees possible deal with Voo on SFR Hainaut ops

Friday 23 December 2016 | 16:08 CET | News
Telenet could sell the SFR activities acquired in Wallonia to Voo or swap them for other assets, according to Telenet CEO John Porter in an interview with L'Echo. The acquisition of SFR Belgium gives Telenet its first presence in the Wallonia cable market. While the company already has around 30 percent of its mobile customers in Wallonia, Porter said it was still considering what to do with the SFR activities in Hainaut province and could consider a deal with Voo, the dominant cable operator in Wallonia.
