Telenet starts network upgrade in Limburg

Friday 13 May 2016 | 11:41 CET | News
Telenet is bringing its network upgrade project 'De Grote Netwerf' to Limburg province. The Belgian cable operator is working with Intrax on the upgrade, starting in Hasselt. In addition to rolling out faster speeds, Telenet is connecting more business parks to the network. This is part of the 'Nexus' project started in mid-2014 to invest EUR 10 million in bringing more businesses onto the network. Telenet aims to connect 6,000 new businesses within five years. A few hundred zones in Flanders are targeted, of which 119 have already been connected.
