Telenet trims FY outlook as coronavirus leads to flat underlying sales in Q1

Belgian operator Telenet reported first-quarter revenues of EUR 653 million, up 4 percent from a year earlier thanks to its takeover of De Vijver Media. Underlying sales were little changed, as improving subscription revenues was offset by lower business revenues and a negative impact from the Covid-19 out break on ICT, handset and ad revenues. Telenet said it expects an around 2 percent fall in organic sales over the full year, due largely to the effects of the coronavirus crisis
