Telenet ups FY guidance amid higher profit in Q3

Wednesday 31 October 2018 | 11:29 CET | News
Belgian operator Telenet slashed costs in the third quarter, pushing up profit despite a slight decline in revenues. On the back of the positive results, the company increased its full year adjusted EBITDA forecast, saying it now sees a rise of 8-8.5 percent, from its previous guidance of 7-8 percent. Adjusted free cash flow is also expected at the upper end of the EUR 400-420 million range. Telenet said it will reach these results by cutting more costs and accelerating synergies from takeovers.
