Telenor buys Schibsted, Singapore Press classified ad stakes

Telenor said it has signed agreements with Schibsted and Singapore Press Holdings to take over their stakes in their online classified advertising joint ventures in Malaysia, Vietnam and Myanmar. It has agreed with Schibsted to exit their Latin American joint venture, SnT. At the same time that Telenor bows out of SnT, it is acquiring Schibsted's stake in the joint ventures in Malaysia, Vietnam and Myanmar (701 Search).
