Telenor confirms 3G network shutdown to start in January

Telenor has confirmed plans to shut down its 3G network in Norway by 2020. The spectrum will be re-used for the 4G network, which already handles over 96 percent of data traffic. The 3G network will be decommissioned gradually, on a regional basis, starting in January 2019.
