Telenor Hungary launches 5G test network in Gyor

Telenor Hungary launched a 5G mobile test network in Gyor at the Szechenyi Istvan University and the downtown of Gyor. Telenor's 5G network partner is ZTE, which not only supplied and deployed network components but also provided two 5G smartphones. During a press conference held on the occasion of the network's launch, a test download speed of 1.7 Gbps was reached using a 5G smartphone to demonstrate the network's functionalities.
