Telenor Hungary ups operating profit despite lower Q1 sales

Telenor Hungary reported revenues falling to NOK 1.053 billion from 1.117 billion the year before, on the back of reduced handset revenues. Subscription and traffic revenues slid to NOK to 860 million from 908 million while interconnect revenues went lower to NOK 65 million from 68 million. EBITDA declined to NOK 348 million from 354 million while the operator profit rose to NOK 207 million from 190 million. Capex reached NOK 404 million, from 46 million the year earlier.
