Telenor Norway boosts capacity at 300 mobile base stations as coronavirus strands Norwegians at home

Telenor Norway said its fixed line and mobile networks are able to cope with demand created by the coronavirus forcing "thousands" of Norwegians to work from home. It has increased capacity at 300 base stations, it said. Coverage director Bjorn Amundsen cautioned that one or two stations might suffer temporary overload, but said the operator is poised to handle such challenges.
