Telenor Norway Q4 revenue and EBITDA decline

Telenor Norway said total revenue in the fourth quarter of 2013 was NOK 6.479 billion, compared with a restated 6.518 billion in the final quarter of 2012. EBITDA before other items was NOK 2.545 billion compared with a restated NOK 2.722 billion. Operating profit was NOK 1.686 billion compared with a restated NOK 1.915 billion. The EBITDA margin decreased by 2 percentage points because of an increase in low-margin hardware sales and increased operation and maintenance costs. Lower commission costs through a change in the sales channel mix were partly offset by increased marketing
