Telenor Norway starts Svalbard 5G pilot on 20 October

Telenor Norway said it will start its Svalbard 5G pilot on 20 October. The trial will take place in Longyearbyen, the principal town on the archipelago, and will see how the technology fares in an Arctic climate. It will test broadband via 5G as well as 5G handsets.
