Telenor Norway urges govt to raise 2021 budget for broadband funding

Telenor Norway CEO Petter-Borre Furberg has criticised the national budget proposal for 2021 for cutting funding for broadband expansion by NOK 136 million compared with the 2020 level. He said this would affect the common digital future, with districts being hit hardest. Telenor is challenging politicians to be ambitious, he said, rather than to let Norway lag behind.
