Telenor Norway uses local redundancy to cut mobile network downtime by 80%

Telenor said that it is using local redundancy for much of its mobile network as it develops 5G, to provide Norway with what it claims might be the world's most resilient mobile network. Double routing can reduce downtime by approximately 80 percent, said Telenor Norway CEO Petter-Borre Furberg.
