Telenor Norway will continue maintaining copper lines where no alternative exists

Telenor Norway has sought to reassure customers concerned about the copper network shutdown. Recently, communications regulator Nkom asked it to clarify its plans for migration, amid fears that it would not repair faults on the century-old network after 01 May 2019. CEO Petter-Borre Furberg now says the operator will either mend faulty copper lines, or will support customers in switching to newer networks.
