Telenor, Ooredoo disclose mobile pricing plans for Myanmar

Norway-based Telenor and Qatari operator Ooredoo, the winners of two mobile licences in Myanmar, have shared more information on how much they will charge customers to use their services, Totaltele.com reported. Telenor said it will charge MMK 25 per minute for calls, while Ooredoo will set the price at MMK 35 per minute for on-net calls and MMK 45 per minute for off-net calls. Telenor and Ooredoo will charge MMK 1,500 for a SIM but Ooredoo also plans to launch an offer that comes with a free SIM.
