Telenor says local councils are happy with mobile coverage

Friday 2 August 2013 | 12:39 CET | News
Half of Norway's local councils consider mobile phone coverage to be good or very good, said Telenor Norway, citing a report by the Norwegian Directorate for Civil Protection (DSB) concerning Telenor's infrastructure technology migration. It said 52 percent of local councils took part in the DSB survey and 42 percent of respondents considered reception in their municipality to be good, with 10 percent saying it was very good. A little over one third or respondents considered coverage to be middling, with only 10 percent saying it was poor.
