Telenor says Trondheim air quality monitoring pilot shows need for better calibration of data

Telenor Norway said it an air monitoring pilot scheme running in Trondheim since 2018 shows that the quality of data from sensors must be improved in order to meet minimum requirements for a public evaluation of pollution levels. The pilot uses Artificial Intelligence and has been run in conjunction with the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) and the Information Technologies Institute, Centre for Research and Technology Hellas (ITI-CERTH).
